Beancounter addon reset8/16/2023 ![]() Below is a copy of a couple of the first screens I kept getting (they differed depending on which version of the addon I ran (I tried the latest full release, the latest beta, and the latest Alpha 103). then the addon crashed, and now no matter how many times I delete the addon, delete my cache, wtf, and interface directories and reinstall the addon- it keeps crashing on load. So, at that point I tried hitting what I think was a reset default settings button within the addon. At that point I tried removing and disabling certain priorities related to the lightning bolt and chain lightning for AE (on anything but 5 stacks of maelstrom weapon) and still it didn't work right. I tried to rework the code to compensate, but nothing seemed to help. Firstly when the addon was working it appeared that it wasn't detecting Ancestral Swiftness was on cooldown so I kept getting the lightning bolt priority to pop up when I was as low as 1 stack of maelstrom weapon. I've been trying to get the addon to work all morning and ran into multiple problems. Please let me know if you find any bugs, as I'd like to be sure that everything is working well when people are stomping through WoD content. I doubt I'll implement it for range coloring, since it is not always able to give an accurate estimate and I prefer to have the addon give consistent output. I've actually added LibRangeCheck-2.0 to my development version of the addon, so that I can add ability conditions based on range estimates (i.e., target.within10, target.outside5, target.range5to25). You might want to try RangeDisplay to see how helpful that information is. On my Enhancement Shaman, I can see when a target is 35 - 40 yards away, but not 38 - 40 yards, for instance. Unfortunately, it's not able to work out the range very narrowly at all times. There is an existing library, LibRangeCheck-2.0, that figures out an estimated range from you to another unit based on what abilities/items/interactions are available to you at a given time. I've had people ask me to enable a filter to block abilities that are out of range, as well. Or add a tiny range meeter that show you the range in numbers.Īt least i would like to have that, but i dont know if you or any other supports that. It's something to consider. Range 39-40 # a yellow or orange Frame that indicate that your on the edge of max range to your target to be aware to move proper if there is any movement coming. Range 0-38 # stays the same ( non Color overlay ) I suggest to ad a third color if possible. I know you have implementet a kind of range mesurment so that the Icons turn red if you are out of range.
